Description

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist to join the Medical Psychology Assessment Clinic (MPAC). You will work with patients who present a full-range of neurologic, psychiatric, and other medical disorders. Primary duties include:

  • Conducting clinical interviews with patients
  • Administering and scoring tests
  • Providing feedback to patients and families
  • Providing behavioral recommendations on patient status and abilities
  • Developing training materials
  • Supervising and training externs and fellows
  • Other clinical duties as assigned
Salary range: $58.36/hr - $76.99/hr
Qualifications

PhD or Psyd in Clinical Psychology

Valid CA Psychologist License

Minimum 2 years of post-doc experience in Clinical Neuropsychology

Prior experience training or supervising predoctoral and/or postdoctoral trainees (preferred)

Prior experience working with pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations (preferred)

Ability to assess and interpret medical diagnosis

Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills.

Ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Excellent organization skills to prioritize multiple patients to meet deadlines.

Ability to keep accurate and timely records of patients.
