The Quality Manager provides planning, administrative and direct supervisory control and direction to the Quality Control and Aircraft Records departments; responsible for effective coordination and communications with regulatory agencies representatives (FAA), outside vendors and other ABX departments; acts to oversee and assure company policy, procedures and practices are in accordance with FAR's in the maintenance of aircraft engines and components, including activities in related support departments; oversee and maintain audit schedules, quality and currency; monitor and ensure compliance of all SMS related requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10 years working experience on heavy commercial transport category aircraft
• 3 years management experience
• Good organizational, communication, analytical, planning and leadership skills
• A&P License
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of FAR's

PREFERRED:

• Associate Degree in Aircraft Technology or similar in technical field
• Prior audit or quality department experience
• Prior aircraft maintenance content management system experience (MXI, PMI, AMOS, Prime)
