Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Alvardo/dormakaba is seeking a Customer Sales Support - Technical Specialist based in our Chino, CA facility to serve customers in our Sports and Entertainment business. The Customer Sales Support - Technical Specialist provides support of both hardware and software solutions and is a key resource to ensure we are delivering the right solutions to our clients on time and in budget. They will work with customers on needs assessments, integration and provide support on our Secured Entry Control Solutions which include our flagship gate admission and patron counting devices. In addition to working with our customers, they will work closely with our sales, support, engineering, sourcing, and logistics teams.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $100,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide project coordination and oversight, collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, identify appropriate solutions and define scope
  • Help customers to identify needs and offer solutions by soliciting feedback, evaluating data to suggest product improvements and modifications
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering to research, develop, and propose modifications to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
  • Work cross functionally with other departments and key stakeholders
  • Develop in-depth product and industry knowledge to serve as subject matter expert (SME)
  • Contribute to the establishment and review of technical documentation, training, and other resources.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • 5+ years' experience in sales and/or product technology field
  • Understanding of product/layout drawings and system schematics, including both mechanical and electrical functionality.
  • Travel up to 50%

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Ticketing and/or Sports/Entertainment industry knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
