A typical day is from 8 am to 5 pm. Starting pay is $25 to $28 per hour depending on experience.The Requirements To be a good fit for the Certified Medical Assistant, opportunity, you will have:
  • Completed an accredited medical assistant program and a supervised healthcare externship
  • Possess Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent certifying agency.
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in a medical assisting role with administrative duties or a similar healthcare position.
  • Familiarity with Medical Assisted Treatment.
  • A valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards are required.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.

Therefore, if much of this job description describes you, then you are highly encouraged to apply for this role.The Role Reporting to the Executive Director, as a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting client treatment and recovery through proficient and empathetic medical services, meticulous medication oversight, and effective records management. Daily, you will be responsible for checking in with each client and doing a SOAP note. You will manage their medications, work with the pharmacy on medication deliveries, schedule lab work, and more.
