Job Description
Crissair is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with prior manufacturing experience.

Summary
Responsible for developing and enforcing quality standards and protocols for the quality management system.  Maintains quality performance targets to support Crissair’s quality and customer satisfaction goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
•    Define, select, and apply elements such as policy deployment, benchmarking, goal setting, planning and scheduling, project management, and quality information systems.
•    Describe and apply cost of quality concepts, including quality cost categories, data collection, reporting, etc.  Evaluate cost of quality develops trends for management presentation.
•    Define, apply, and analyze the results of customer satisfaction measures such as customer complaints, RMAs, etc.
•    Identify, define, and apply the elements of a documentation system such as configuration management and document control.
•    Identify the content and applicability of AS and ISO quality standards.
•    Identify and apply the concepts and techniques of various types of quality audits such as product, process, system, registration, certification, management, and compliance.
•    Identify, define, and classify quality characteristics including seriousness classification of defects when necessary (i.e. KC’s for SPC).
•    Identify sources of design input such as customer needs and regulatory requirements.  Identify and apply common elements of the design review process, including roles and responsibilities of participants.
•    Identify, lead, and implement effective process control measures to capture process defects.  Apply sound systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.  
•    Seek and document lean process improvement ideas for the department.
•    FAA/EASA experience desirable. 
•    Trouble shoot and investigate assembly and fluid control testing experience desirable.
•    Six Sigma green belt experience desirable.
•    Establish and maintain PFMEAs.
•    Establish and maintain Net Inspect, SPC and Control Plans.
•    Review and approve Routing Changes.  
•    Strong customer interface skills and experience with the knowledge to deal face to face with customer issues, facilitate meetings and develop documents and letters for customers. 
•    Support Material Review Board activities. 
•    Analyze and improve Human Factor’s.
•    Basic Inspection knowledge for investigation purposes.

Qualification Requirements
Education/Experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
•    Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
•    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  
•    Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.  
•    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.

Math Skills
•    Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.  
•    Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Skills
•    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  
•    Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

•    Basic windows/internet browser
