We are currently seeking a Analyst, Contract Administration to join our growing team in Huntsville, AL.
The successful individual will be responsible for the negotiation, administration and monitoring of major contracts with government agencies and prime contractors including such matters as price, delivery and other terms and clauses involving significant responsibility and liability. Interprets the conditions and terms of contracts including fiscal and legal implications and advises management on all significant procedures and regulations affecting the Contract. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, government regulations and industry protocols. Responsible for the acquisition of materials/services and the management of the supply chain for program requirements. Acts as consultant/liaison with customers on all matters affecting contractual agreements.

We've begun hiring for our third facility in the Huntsville area, a 379,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility near the Huntsville airport that will specialize in the production and assembly of inert solid rocket motor components. We are also continuing to grow at our Huntsville center of excellence for Missile Solutions Program Management and Engineering, as well as our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in north Huntsville, where we produce advanced propulsion products.

50% Work is performed under limited general direction, plans, conducts and provides direct input on projects or major phases of significant project assignment, working with internal stakeholders in the performance of assigned activities. Administers contracts of moderate complexity. Assists in negotiation with the customer contract terminology, pricing, technical requirements and scope. Recommends contract changes, including revisions and coordinates the preparation and negotiation of change orders, supplemental agreements, price re-determination, etc. affecting the life of the contract.
25% Monitors internal progress of contracts with various operating divisions to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements. Monitors and reviews claims for completeness, accuracy and conformance with Federal and Defense procurement regulations.
15% Prepares all necessary internal reports for management and periodic reports to contracting officers as required.
10% Assists in developing policies, procedures and practices relating to contract administration.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Preferred Requirements:
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat.
