Role Summary and Purpose You will drive development of next-generation products utilizing innovative MEMS ohmic switch technology. In this role, you will be a core member of the New Product Introduction Team (NPI) and responsible for architecture, design, verification, and timely release of your new products into production. You will directly impact critical roadmaps and support new technology development. This position involves detailed 3D EM modeling, package modeling and co-design, hands-on characterization, and debugging of new device designs. Essential Responsibilities You will work in an innovative team environment supportingthe Product Development team's goal to deliver industry-leading products capable of a broad frequency range (DC to 60GHz, and beyond) with wide RF power handling capabilities up to 50dBm for both device and microsystem solutions. You will work closely with layout, process, product, and test development engineers to ensure optimum alignment. You will also work closely with early adopting customers to ensure upfront spec alignment and system integration success. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the development and timely delivery of innovative products and for advancing our design capabilities. You will work in a fast-paced and adaptive team environment that is developing innovative technologies with an impact on broad industrial and commercial products.

You will:
  • Develop and deliver innovative RF MEMS products utilizing the companys advanced MEMS switch technology.
  • Use ADS and EMPro 3D for RF MEMS device, package, microsystem design, and simulation.
  • Work with the Technology Team to develop and validate new technologies, device structures, and design rules.
  • Develop bench-level RF device level test capabilities, execute device verification, and support product characterization / qualification.
  • Work with customers to design, simulate, and characterize innovative custom RF MEMS devices.
  • Drive advancements in design methodologies and product execution.
  • Comply with all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional RF experience. RF MEMS experience is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of RF and EM theory and design.
  • A deep understanding of RF system-level architecture development.
